Realistic or Distorted

Realistic art is art that takes as its subject real objects, scenes, events, people and situations that exist in the world, and attempts to render them mostly as they actually are to our visual sense, as well as to our emotions and mind. For example, in realistic are, we see paintings of people, animals, landscapes, battles, furniture, fruit and other animate and inanimate objects pretty much to look like themselves. In Distorted art, though the artist renders objects, people, ideas, feelings, emotions, dreams, or other subjects in abstract ways, without being bound to what they actually look like visually.

But for me id prefer Realistic. Because Realistic arts shows the exact happening in the image. The shadows, the body gestures, the faces, the surroundings, the texture and the emotions. And realistic arts are the awareness of what is really happening in that image. And the the clear message of the image that attracts the viewers. The art that is created with the goal of lifelike presentation.

The girl behind the painting

Who is Mona Lisa? Who is the girl behind the painting? What is the mystery behind Mona Lisa's smile? And what makes the painting became the best known painting in the world? Mona Lisa is painted by Leonardo da Vinci a well known painter in the whole wide world. Mona Lisa come from the italian word which means my lady. Mona is the short term for Madonna therefore the title is Mona Lisa and Madonna in english is Madam. Mona Lisa or La Gioconda the wife of  Francesco del Giocondo a Florentine silk merchant. La Gioconda is from the Gherardini family of Florence and Tuscany. The most significant painting of all time.

According to my research there is something behind Mona Lisa's enigmatic smile. The enigmatic smile of Mona Lisa has been the source of inspiration for many and a cause for desperation in others. In 1852, Luc Maspero, a French artist, jumped four floors to his death from a hotel room in Paris. His suicide note explained that he preferred death after years of struggling to understand the mystery behind Mona Lisa's smile. When discussing the mystery behind the smile, art experts often refer to a painting technique called sfumato, which was developed by Da Vinci. In Italian, sfumato means "vanished" or "smoky," implying that the portrait is ambiguous and blurry, leaving its interpretation to the viewer's imagination. This technique uses a subtle blend of tones and colors to produce the illusion of form, depth and volume. Some of the scientist says that its just our vision because the human eye are consists of two regions, the fovea, or central area, and the surrounding peripheral area. They say that the fovea recognizes details and colors and reads fine print, and the peripheral area identifies motion, shadows and black and white. Because when a person looks at the painting, the fovea focuses on her eyes, leaving the peripheral area on her mouth. This is one of the reasons why the painting has remained an enigma to art enthusiasts and perhaps the most famous painting in the world.

Another article that i read says that Mona Lisa is a female version of Leonardo da Vinci. They presumed that Leonardo is homosexual that's why he made himself a female version. They also said that Mona Lisa is a self disguised portrait. Some of the scientists  compared Mona Lisa's painting to Leonardo da Vinci's skull. But its still a mystery until now. That's why some scientists spend their whole life solving the mystery behind Da Vinci's painting. Because they believe that Mona Lisa is not just an ordinary painting that Da Vinci did. Because the painting shows some mysterious eyes. smile, hand gestures, the way Mona Lisa sits and the way the painting made. They are really pursuing to unveil the secret behind the painting. Week 8: The Effects

The Effects of New Media.
New Media is in our daily lives. It help us to communicate easier with other people in other places. Just one click to your computer and you can talk to the person you want to. Not just talk, you can see that person in the computer by the use of webcam. You don't need to buy a newspaper to check the news, just one click to the internet or television and you can check the latest news. You don't need to read a bunch of books to make your assignments or thesis, you can use the internet too. No need to use a mail, you just need a cellphone and you can call or text to the person you want to. See, new media really help us a lot and it make things more easier to do. And it make us became more indolent and lazy.

It makes us become irresponsible because we always depend on what we see on the new media and not what we see  in the real life. It makes us become lazy because new media is a technological temptation. Sometimes new media become an obstruction to us because its a kind of technology that really get our attention even if we are doing something that is more important than the new media. In new media you can make sins and some of this are pornography, piracy, hacking, sexting and etc. Using new media is not a bad hobby actually it help us a lot in our daily lives but don't forget to use a limitation on using new media because sometimes crossing the line can cause a harm. Just follow you bliss but use a limitation.

Week 7: Rainy Day

What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word "Rainy Day"?

You can do many things on rainy day. You can watch movies, sleep all day, do your homework and etc. What i actually do on rainy day is taking photographs of raindrops i don't know why i love doing it maybe because its my way of expressing all my emotions. Playing soccer while raining is really fun thing to do. And one thing that i do on rainy day is unwinding, it refresh my mind and help me solve a problem. Hugging someone while its raining is best thing to do, because it keeps you warm and you feel like your protected from any danger. Hahahah! But sometimes i hate rain because when the day that i forgot to bring my umbrella is the day that the rain will fall really hard. Some gatherings have been cancel because of that rain. I remember that time, we planned to go to a summer vacation and it has been cancel because of the storm. Urghh! we are all unhappy in that day. 

Week 6: Internet as a Super Highway

As time goes by internet become a highway, A road to one person to another. In internet you can get so many ideas and information. You can chat your friend, you can e-mail them, you can watch movies and you can read some news. You see, internet is so important now a days because it's the fast way of getting some resources and information. You don't need to read a whole book just to get some information, all you need to do is just search it in the internet and it will give you the best answer for your question. It's like a non-traffic road where you can make your way faster. But always remember that there is a limitation in using internet. In internet you can do what you want, but you should know the limitations of using it. Internet makes our life high tech,  like facebook, tumblr, tweeter and other social networking sites. In this social networking sites we can get ideas, information and we can check the latest news and the trends. You can make new friends and you can build a business using an internet. Internet is really helpful because it make our life more easier to live.

Week 5: The MMA FUNmily!

We are one family in MMA.

 The ate's and kuya's are really friendly, they are always the one who approach us. I remember the time when kuya Jeric Danal brought a Jollibee french fries so we can have our lunch. We held our GA last thursday, and we had our meeting about creating our own organization and we assign the leaders of the organization.  Kuya Andrew Abrigo is the assign President of the organization and Kuya Jeric Danal is the Vice-President. After that we had our class picture in the lobby. We really had fun in that day. Im so happy that we are going to have our own organization. In MMA you are not one, we are family because they will treat you good. Ms. Anna is like a mother to us even though we are always noisy she's preventing to loose her temper. We love you Ms. Anna! Hope that you don't loose the temper. :)) This is my first and lasts choice! :)

Week 4: Teamwork

Teamwork!!!
This is the process of working with a group as one or as a team.
Working with them together and trying your best in any kind of circumstances or situation.
In teamwork you should work as a one team because there i no way you can solve a problem if one of the members are not participating. You should be responsible, one members problem is a one team problem!
All the members should cooperate using their individual skills and sharing their own ideas.
Like in soccer if you don't know how to cooperate with your teammate your team will never have a goal.
Because we need to work as a team in any kind of situation.

Just like our Prelim exam we need teamwork so we can finish our Prelim early.

Week 3: How has Technology change Communication?

Technology really affect communication in terms of positive and negative ways.


In Positive because its more easier for us to connect or communicate using technology. Like when you are far away from the person you want to talk to, you can use your cellphone as a device to communicate to that person. You can easily check the news without buying a newspaper, just check the internet and you can check the news there. You can use a webcam so you can talk to the person face to face in the computer.

In Negative because some of us are becoming too rowdy in the social networking sites like facebook, twitter, tumblr etc. Some of the people are bullying others through internet by the use of chatting or e-mail.
People are becoming too lazy because of technology like in korea and japan they use a Robot as a teacher in the classroom, the reason why it's a negative way of communicating because it's more good if the teacher who is talking to you is a human.

As time goes on the future will become more easier for us because of technology.
Using technology is not bad, it depends on how we use it .
So take it slow GUYS, Use a Time Lapse.

Week 2: Why Communicate?

Why do we need to communicate with others?

We need to communicate because its the way of expressing our 

feelings, ideas or emotions to others.

Imagine no communication.

Example: 
How can you say to your parents that you love them?

How you can express your feelings to your love ones?
How can you give your own idea?

Imagine the old days how did they communicate to others?

Example: 
They use fire signal.
Carrier pigeons were used to get information from one place to another.
I think you know this one, it's a 2 empty can with a one thin rope on each side.

Now you now that communication in old days is not that easy we are so lucky that we are born in high-tech days we have cellphones just one click right away and you can talk to your love ones, we have laptop just a simple log-in and you can see the people that you miss via webcam or if you want to send an important message just log-in to your e-mail. You see it's really easy to communicate you just need to express yourself and you can do it KID!

Week 1: CAS is Fun

Sa mahigit isang linggo ko dito sa Lyceum of the Philippines Laguna
ay masasabe ko na nakakita na ako ng mga kaibigang loko lalo na yung
mga ka-department ko (CAS). CAS is really fun kase
ang saya saya namen lage pati yung mga teacher ang babaet nila
walang mga teacher na "murderer" o yung mga ang susunget.. ayoko kase non eh..
Tapos sabe nila eh madame daw kameng activity lalo tuloy akong na-excite:]

Eto nga pala yung mga kaibigan ko na lage kong kasama sa pagkaen at daldalan:

Yan c paolo sobrang daldal niya daig pag ang babae sa sobrang 
kadaldalan eh ngayon lang ako naka-encounter ng gantong kaibigan
ang biles niya mga isep ng mga sasabihen lalo na yung "pambara"
kahit seryoso kang nakikipagusap sa kanya hahaluhan niya paden ng biro
ganyan cya ka-loko..

Sorry po nalate ang blog ko ng one day :]
Gumising ako ng 5o'clock,
naghilamos,
kumaen,
nagsipilyo
nagcomputer,
naligo,
nagdamet ng pampasok,
humingi ng baon,
nagpaalam...
sumakay ng jeep at mahigit 30 minutes na biyahe papuntang LPU...
and this is what happen..

by the way nanalo naman si paolo at zam nakalimutan ko na kung ano yung pwesto nila eh.
Naka 4 na nominate si zam bago siya manalo hahahahah:] PURSIGIDO.
pagkatapos ng GA ay nagklase pa kame sa phil. History grabe yung pinapagawa
samen basahen yung 1st 50 page ng libro...
tapos non kumaen kame sa canteen nila zam, paolo, marion, at gaive...
then balek kame sa room ng 1:30 dahil klase na namen sa english...
at eto na ang "pinakamasayang" subject ang information technology :D
 pagkauwe ko sa bahay tinapos ko na yung ginawa kong LOGO ng MMA 1-1
at eto ang kinalabasan niya:]
